Fees & Appointments

Currently, my schedule is full and I’m not able to take on any new clients. Please check back here for updates as this status can change throughout the year.

My standard fee is $150 for a 55-minute session.

I understand that not everyone who needs help can afford a standard fee. I reserve a predetermined number of appointments each week for those who demonstrate financial need. If this is the situation you are in, please call me to discuss your individual circumstances.

Occasional phone calls of 10 minutes or less are free to my clients.  Phone calls lasting longer than 10 minutes will be charged at a prorated rate.

Payment

Payments can be made by credit card, cash or check and are due at the time of service. Please make checks payable to Shelley Watson, LLC.

Insurance

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Currently, I don’t file insurance, but I am happy to provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance provider the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • Is preauthorization required? If so, can I do that or must the therapist contact my carrier?
